In the year 1899, a migrant steamship, the Kerberos, travels from London to New York. The passengers, a diverse group from different European backgrounds, are united by their hopes for the future but haunted by their pasts. When they encounter the Prometheus, a ship that had been missing for months, their journey takes a surreal and nightmarish turn. As reality begins to fracture, they realize they are trapped in a complex simulation where nothing—and no one—is what they seem.
