Charlie Cale is a former casino worker with an uncanny, “supernatural” ability to tell when someone is lying. While on the run from a vengeful casino boss, she traverses the American backroads in her beat-up Plymouth Barracuda. In every town she stops, she encounters a strange new cast of characters and a murder that only she can solve by sniffing out the “bullshit” in their stories.
