Synopsis:
Set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, this epic series tells the story of House Targaryen at the height of its power. Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the narrative focuses on the internal succession war known as the Dance of the Dragons. The conflict begins when King Viserys I breaks tradition by naming his daughter, Rhaenyra, as his heir, sparking a bitter divide within the court. As the “Blacks” and the “Greens” vie for the Iron Throne, family loyalties are shattered, kingdoms are razed, and the legendary dragons of Westeros are turned against one another in a civil war that will eventually lead to the downfall of the Targaryen dynasty.
