Synopsis:
Set against the opulent and dangerous backdrop of the 1920s fashion industry, Pearl in Red follows the ambitious Lin Xiaoxiao as she navigates the cutthroat world of high-society tailoring in Shanghai. When a mysterious red pearl, rumored to be part of a lost imperial treasure, is sewn into a gown she is commissioned to create, Xiaoxiao finds herself caught between a ruthless triad leader and a charming but secretive British investigator. Season 1 tracks her transformation from a humble seamstress to a powerful player in an international game of espionage, where one wrong stitch could mean her life.
